MPI 2025 Annual Peacebuilding Training Application Form

INSTRUCTIONS: Please fill out/check the appropriate boxes with the correct information. Please indicate dates in the following format: dd-mmm-yyyy (e.g., 01-JAN-2025).

You will be asked to upload your Curriculum Vitae/Résumé, a Letter of Recommendation, and your Passport ID Page for international participants and a copy of the page with your Philippine Visa for those living/working in the Philippines. Please have these documents ready.

You will also be asked to write a Statement of Experience and a Statement of Intent, each not exceeding 600 words. We highly advise you to write/save those in a word processor (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Notepad) before completing this form in case you lose your connection to the Internet.

6. Course Selections


Each week, MPI will be offering four courses that run concurrently. Therefore, you will only be able to attend one course per week. Acceptance to the course is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you may not get your first choice. Please rank your course preferences below by marking 1 for your top choice, 2 for your second, and so on.

Only select courses for the week(s) you plan to attend.

Please note: Conflict Resolution Skills: Mediation and Dialogue and Introduction to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning with a “Peace Positive Lens” in Week 2, and Why Peace Needs the Arts: Exploring Creative Resources for Peacebuilding in Week 3 have the following prerequisite: Introduction to Conflict Transformation or Fundamentals of Peacebuilding or Introduction to Peacebuilding Theory and Practice or an equivalent course or experience.

FLUENCY IN ENGLISH IS REQUIRED FOR ALL COURSES.

Please upload a Letter of Recommendation from an organization that knows you and your work. The letter should include how long they have known you; in what capacity they have observed your work; what your work entailed; your facility in the English language; and in what ways they think this training will be helpful to you. The recommending organization/person may upload the letter directly. We also request that you upload your most recent Curriculum Vitae/Résumé

B. For International Applicants (including those living/working in the Philippines) only
