Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation Sourcebook

This Sourcebook is about teaching students to be peacemakers. It includes basic knowledge and skills regarding conflict resolution and peer mediation, which they need to acquire, to enable them to serve as effective peer mediators. The Sourcebook has been designed to be the main resource material for a training workshop on the subject. It is based on a survey of literature on conflict resolution and peer mediation programs and from the insights of participants in the Conflict Resolution and Peer Mediation workshops that the Center for Peace Education has conducted the past six years.

Although the initial intent is to use the Sourcebook in training Miriam College students, particularly our Peer Mediators and Peacekeepers, it is hoped that this material can also serve the needs of other young people in other schools and other settings.
