Zoom is an online video communication platform. It can be used for one to one communication and for large group meetings.

The first thing you should do is sign up for a free  Zoom account. You may do so at this link: https://zoom.us/signup

Once you have signed up, you should then download the application. It is available here: https://zoom.us/download.

It is available for both Android and iOS mobile phones. MPI recommends using it on a computer to maximize all the features and because some facilitators will ask you to use other web-based applications at the same time.

A basic resource is Zoom Support's Guide for Beginners or Zoom 101: Basic Steps for Using Zoom

You may also find some brief introductory information on installing Zoom and joining a meeting on smartphones and computers for multilingual students here. Languages include Arabic, Bengali, Burmese, Dari, English, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Tigrinya, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
